In 2009 Thomas C. Demsker, a professional broker, started No Brokers Please to provide consulting services to FSBO's (For Sale By Owner) so they could navigate the complicated world of New York City Real Estate.
The idea was to offer a la carte services, access to his professional contacts, and consulting services in one site, so that owners could band together in one place, solely for them, and mimic how brokerages help sell their agent's listings.
The congregation of all the FSBO's on one site would exponentially increase their marketing power within the marketplace just as a real estate brokerage sells their agent’s listings. Then brokerages utilize secondary marketing sources (Street Easy..etc) to further expand their marketing footprint, which we offer here on the site as well, so that FSBO’s get the full benefit of centralized marketing.
Currently, Mr. Demsker, is active as a professional broker, running his full service brokerage Demsker Realty (after his last job at Douglas Elliman). This offers FSBO’s a unique perspective into the Real Estate Market that no other site offers, as his activity in the market provides the most accurate consulting services possible since he is experiencing everything first hand.
Since 2009 we have sold over 50 properties and saved owners millions of dollars in commissions.
